COLD HARDY PALMS

The palms in this section are listed in order of probable hardiness. They are some of the most hardy palms we offer and usually only start to show damage from cold at  0 to 10 degrees. Many have survived even colder temperatures and have come back after the foliage has frozen back. Some of these palms, like the Windmill, have survived record low temperatures in Oregon down to -8 degrees. Keep in mind that young and old plants are more prone to cold damage and some protection on colder winter nights will help limit the possible cold damage to any plant. Follow the planting instructions for each specific palm.

Welcome to our online gallery !

Here you will be able to see palms at various stages of their life, from young plants to 80-year-old trees. This is just a representative sample of our complete inventory of palms that we stock and can get at affordable prices.
